GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

What is PE & Sport Premium?

The PE and Sport Premium provides primary schools with government funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of the PE, physical activity and sports provision. 

Key Indicators:

Schools use the PE and Sport Premium to secure improvements in the following 5 key indicators:

  1. Increased confidence and skills of all staff in teaching PE and sport
  2. Engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity
  3. The profile of PE and sport is raised across the school as a tool for whole school improvement
  4. Broader experience of a range of sports and physical activities offered to all pupils
  5. Increased participation in competitive sport
