GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Greenway Junior School Admissions Consultation 

Greenway Junior School is consulting on a proposal to reduce its Published Admission Number from 120 to 90 and to lower the school’s overall capacity from 480 to 360 from September 2027. This change reflects local pupil projections and aims to ensure long-term sustainability while continuing to deliver high-quality education and support. A formal consultation is now open, and families are invited to share their views.

Please note: This consultation is taking place in accordance with the requirements as set out in the School Admissions Code. The consultation must take place for six weeks, excluding school holidays.

The GLF Trust Board is the Admissions Authority for our School. It will review all responses to the consultation prior to confirming the final Admissions Arrangements for 2027-28. They will be published on our website no later than Friday 13 March 2026, in line with the statutory requirement. 


Greenway Junior School admissions are coordinated by West Sussex County Council. The deadline for applications for entry in September 2026 is Thursday 15th January 2026 and National Offer Day is Thursday 16th April 2026.

West Sussex County Council

  • All parents living in West Sussex need to complete their online application form or a paper form. No separate application is required direct to the school.
  • Parents living outside West Sussex must use their Home Local Authority’s form to apply for a place at a West Sussex school.
  • The closing date for all applications (either online or paper) will be in the January prior to starting in September. Please check annual policies and the West Sussex County Council website for actual dates.
  • In April an outcome will be sent by West Sussex’s Admissions and Transport team to all parents who have completed a West Sussex application form.
  • When Greenway Junior School is over-subscribed, the school's admission policy is used to rank the applications. Please check the annual policy for detail of the ranking criteria.
