GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Little LifeSavers Visit

Our year 6 children benefitted from Little LifeSavers charity visiting Greenway on Tuesday 17th June to teach simple bystander CPR skills including:

  • Management of choking child - Back Blows
  • Collapsed Child of their age - Child hands-only CPR - No rescue breaths
  • Collapsed Adult in a cafe - Adult Hands-only CPR - No rescue breaths
  • Responding Casualty - The Recovery Position

All the children behaved wonderfully, displaying our core values of respect and aspiration.
