Greenway Football Team Shines at Boundless Festival Tournament
Our Greenway football team put in a fantastic performance on Wednesday at the final football tournament, which was part of our inter-schools Boundless Festival. Competing against nine other schools, the team finished in a commendable 6th place. They won two matches, drew one, and lost two – a brilliant effort that showcased great teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout.
A huge well done to all the pupils who took part – you represented Greenway Junior School with pride and enthusiasm. We’re incredibly proud of your achievements!
We would also like to say a special thank you to Mrs Cannons for driving the minibus and making sure everyone got there and back safely, and to Mr Kirby for his excellent coaching and support throughout the tournament.
